Quesnel's Women's Resource Centre stands to protect women and their rights.
Are you being abused? Are you suffering from domestic violence? Are you depressed and suffering anxiety? Do you require a safe haven? Are you in need of support and advocacy? Do you require counseling to restore your confidence, health, or ease your mental distress? Do you need legal advocacy and support? Do you need a new support system?
The Quesnel Women's Resource Centre provides services to women and families regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, social class, sexual orientation, socioeconomic or immigration status, or other socially determined circumstances.
Today's society's sad reality is that many suffer the indignity of domestic violence, mental or sexual abuse, neglect, and personal endangerment.

The Quesnel Women's Resource Centre recognizes the need to give local women ongoing support and advocacy by providing women and their families with protection and safety.
With this in mind, the Quesnel Women's Resource Centre offers several services designed to provide women in distress in a dignified and respectful environment. Services like drop-in services, safe haven, women support and advocacy, counseling, outreach, and legal assistance.
As a local non-profit organization, the Quesnel Women's Resource Centre promotes and supports women's rights and safety. Every day the Resource Centre works to end violence and abuse against women and their families. All services are provided free of charge, including counseling, outreach, drop-in, advocacy, and support.
The Quesnel Women's Resource Centre offers valuable free services like access to the internet, email, fax, and photocopying. They provide public education, a lending library, access to available resources, and various support groups.
The Quesnel Women's Resource Centre also advocates for the same gender violence prevention and works toward ensuring equality for all genders.
One of the guiding principles of the Quesnel Women's Resource Centre is to ensure social justice and fair and respectful treatment for all.
